Dr. Klein founded Anemone in 2012 and serves as the Chief Executive Officer. The program was developed as a differentiated diet-based total meal replacement program designed to treat and prevent Type 2 diabetes, and help patients effectively lose weight.

Dr. Klein is a neurologist and active clinical researcher with both a BA and a MA from Oxford University, and a MD from Cambridge University. Dr. Klein has taught at Harvard University and Georgetown University. He is now in private practice in Bethesda, MD.

Dr. Klein has published over 40 articles in peer-reviewed journals, has written numerous book chapters, presented scientific work at numerous national and international meetings, lectured nationally and internationally. His clinical research studies have received grants from the NIH, from non-profit organizations and from the pharmaceutical industry.

He enjoys mountain hiking in the Shenandoah’s, spending time with family, and traveling.
